If you're building a business and leading the people inside it, this work is for you.

I've always been interested in what's happening underneath what we can see.

I've spent decades working at the intersection of people, leadership and organizational transformation.

That has meant sitting inside significant organizational change... where strategy can look perfectly sensible on paper and still succeed or fail because of what happens between the people expected to make it real.

It has meant studying human development and psychology, coaching leaders through difficult transitions, and watching how beliefs, expectations, identity and organizational environments shape the way people lead.

Over time, those worlds became one body of work for me.

My work increasingly drew me toward the deeper questions underneath leadership:

  • Why do capable people keep repeating leadership patterns they already know aren't working?
  • What becomes possible when leaders understand what has shaped how they lead... and begin consciously choosing who they want to become?
  • What happens around a leader that either expands or constrains what other people are able to contribute?

How do we help leadership become more deeply human without losing sight of the results leaders are there to produce?

I came to see leadership development as something deeper than adding skills... understanding who we've become, consciously choosing who we want to be as leaders, and becoming more aware of what our leadership creates around us.

I especially enjoy working with founders while their teams are still small enough that they have a meaningful opportunity to shape how people will work, lead and relate as the company grows.

There is something powerful about helping a founder and an early leadership team become intentional about those foundations while they are still taking shape... and creating ways of operating that can support the organization they're becoming.

That's the work I do today with founders and entrepreneurs who lead teams.

I believe people matter. And results count.

The most interesting leadership work happens where those two realities meet.
